CBSE Private Form
Almost all School-going students’ very first target is to pass 10th Class or 12th class Public Examination With good marks. The reason is this is the gateway for further openings for one’s life and career. The student can pursue further studies in 11th after passing 10th class and also after passing 12th Class with good marks to join Colleges and Universities for graduation.
But there are certain intricate hurdles put before the student by the Indian Schooling System. For studying in Class 10 (Secondary Grade) or Class 12th (Senior Secondary Grade) the student must have passed 9th Class or 11th class in any of the recognized Board Schools in India. Unless this condition is fulfilled, the student will not be permitted to join for class 10th or class 12th. Even if that student has studied privately at home, or through non-recognized institutions, and has got the necessary knowledge to explore the 10th Class Course or 12th class course they will not be permitted to join 10th Class or 12th class in any Regular School. It is the same case in respect of students, who missed the opportunity to write 9th or 11th Class exams or failed or dropped out from school-life for any personal reasons.

These students get frustrated by the denial of the important schooling opportunity, for any of the above reasons. They get vexed that if they do not get Secondary School, senior secondary passing Certificate from an authentic Board of Examination, their future is at peril. They cannot continue their studies for Graduation or seek some decent employment anywhere.
The CBSE board is aware of the above difficulties of students, in not getting the chance to study 10 Class or 12th class in Regular Schools, and obtain Secondary, senior secondary School Leaving Certificate. Hence the Scheme of CBSE Private Form was introduced for these students. As a result, now these students can appear by CBSE Private Candidate for 10th class and CBSE Private Candidate for 12th class CBSE Public exam in March every year with all regular school students.
